Canteen

Our school canteen is proudly operated by Fresh Start Canteens, providing students with healthy, fresh, and delicious meal options every day. The menu follows the NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy, offering a balanced selection that supports learning and wellbeing. Fresh Start Canteens also caters to a variety of dietary needs, including halal options, ensuring that all students can enjoy nutritious and inclusive meals at school.

Library

Our school library is a welcoming and vibrant space that encourages a love of reading and learning for all students. It offers a wide range of books and digital resources to support classroom learning and spark curiosity across all year levels. Each class visits the library once a week to borrow books, explore new stories, and develop their reading skills. Students are also encouraged to visit regularly to research topics of interest and enjoy quiet reading time. The library hosts engaging events such as Book Week celebrations, author visits, and reading challenges, helping to build a strong reading culture within our school community.

School Bytes Parent Portal

School Bytes is our online school management and communication platform, making it easy for parents and carers to stay connected with Gregory Hills Public School. Through School Bytes, families can access important information about their child, manage attendance, give permission for excursions, make online payments, and receive updates. The platform helps streamline communication and administrative tasks, ensuring that parents, students, and staff can stay informed and engaged with school life.

Student Opportunities and Activities

At Gregory Hills Public School, we offer a wide range of opportunities and activities that encourage students to explore their interests, develop new skills, and shine beyond the classroom. From leadership roles in the Student Representative Council (SRC) to creative programs like Podcasting, Choir, and Culture Class, students are encouraged to express themselves and build confidence. We are also proud to offer a strong sporting program, giving students the chance to participate in Gala Days, and represent our school in Swimming, Athletics, and Cross Country at school, zone, regional, and state levels. Our school uniform is supplied by Ranier Schoolwear, ensuring high-quality, comfortable, and durable clothing for all students. Families can conveniently purchase uniforms online or visit the Ranier store in Narellan for fittings and orders. Wearing our uniform helps students take pride in belonging to Gregory Hills Public School and promotes a strong sense of community and school identity.
